Strengthen your drawing skills with a class that emphasizes experimentation with different sketching techniques and materials. Strengthen your drawing skills with a class that emphasizes experimentation with different sketching techniques and materials. You will work with pencil, charcoal, marker, and ink and will meet for two, 2-hour sessions. A variety of subject matter will be used. You will need an 11" x 14", or larger, sketchbook, and a pencil and eraser. All other supplies will be furnished.

Pro-Life Oratory Contest

Attention high school students! Be part of Wayne-Holmes Right to Life's 4th annual oratory contest (for sophomores, juniors, and seniors). Students must compose and present a 5-7 minute speech on abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, or adoption from a pro-life perspective. First place receives $100, second place $50, and third place $25. Students must be from Wayne or Holmes county and must register in advance by contacting Carrie Snyder by phone or email.
