For anyone who has done any amount of extensive traveling in their life, they know that the experience of being a tourist is unlike anything else.
Only entrepreneur travelers can visit a city completely different than their own and not feel at least a little out of place, or appear to be exactly what they are " a tourist.
Whether your next vacation is 30 miles away or 3,000 miles away, there are pros and cons to feeling, and being, out of your element. The pressure, or push, of for fending yourself (especially in a non-English speaking country) will empower you to experience the world in a completely different way.
In my mind, there is nothing as thrilling or inspiring as travel. You're stepping into the unknown, you're embarking on an adventure, you're embracing the fact that even if you've planned to the last detail something will go awry.
My hope is that for all you "tourists" out there, never let the unknown scare you. Never let the adventure subdue you and never plan too much.
The thrill is always in the new and unexpected; discoveries are waiting for you, take flight and find them.
