Instead you will find a small assortment of beautifully hand crafted end tables, jewelry boxes and clocks. You will also find that Reuben Miller has taken on a new hobby of crafting specialty novelty pieces such as model airplanes and small stools.
The Wanda E. Brunstetter novel, "The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club" comes to life at the Carlisle Inn, Sugarcreek. In September, the Carlisle Inn kicked off the second half of their season with a new Amish musical about an unlikely group of people that come together for a quilting class taught by an Amish widow. There wasn't a dry eye in the audience as laughter filled the theater and a touch of drama kept viewers on the edge of their seat until the climatic ending.
