Iced & Spiced Pumpkin Squares

Squares Ingredients

*4 eggs

*2 cups sugar

*1 cup vegetable oil

*1 16-oz. can pumpkin

*2 cups flour

*2 tsp. baking powder

*2 tsp. cinnamon

*1 tsp. baking soda

*3/4 tsp. salt

*1/2 tsp. ginger

*1/4 tsp. ground cloves

*1/2 raisins

*1/2 cup chopped nuts

Squares Directions

1. Beat together eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until well-blended.

2. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, ginger and cloves; mix well.

3. Fold in raisins and nuts.

4. Pour into well-greased 15"-10" baking pan and bake at 350° for 25-30 mins; cool

Icing Ingredients

*1 3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

*6 tbsp. margarine softened

*1 tsp. vanilla

*2 cups powdered sugar

*1/2 cup shopped nuts

Icing Directions

1. Cream together cream cheese, margarine and vanilla, and add powdered sugar; mix until smooth.

2. Spread on cooled pumpkin bars and sprinkle nuts on top.

3. Let icing set and cut into squares.
