*1 pkg. Frozen corn
*1/3 cup water
*1 cup sugar
*1 tsp. salt
*1/3 cup sugar
*8 T. cream cheese
1. Heat corn, water, salt and sugar in a saucepan until corn is heated through.
2. Melt in cream cheese and serve.
The original recipe that this was obtained from calls for both of the sugars listed. You could probably substitute butter for one of the sugars if you wished to.
After reviewing the recipe for Amish Corn, sugar is listed twice. Is this a typo ? And perhaps maybe its supposed to be 1 cup butter ?
