What is Swiss Valley Furniture?

Swiss Valley Furniture offers a complete line of handmade solid hardwood furniture. The Mullet family has been designing and building furniture for three generations. Visit the business' main location in Walnut Creek to browse through the 24,000 square foot showroom, or visit the Berlin store to watch a master craftsman handcrafting custom furniture.

In 2003, the Mullet family began building and selling furniture. Kendrick Mullet's grandfather owned his own cabinetry shop, which brought the Mullet into the woodworking business.

Kendrick and his brother, Shawn, work full-time at what is now Swiss Valley Furniture, an expanded business of the cabinetry shop their grandfather started.

According to Kendrick, Swiss Valley Furniture takes its own niche as housing furniture that the Mullet family and their craftsmen build themselves in their own manufacturing shop. Kendrick also prides their ability to build furniture uniquely for the customer.

Dining room furniture, in particular, is the business' specialty and its top selling item.

Along with many other of the local businesses, October-December is the busiest time of year for the Mullet family. As prime tourist season, many out-of-town guests visit Holmes and Wayne counties during that time.

Customer Testimonials:

"We purchased 10 pieces of custom oak furniture for our master bedroom from Swiss Valley. We had some specific changes that we wanted made to the furniture (i.e. 6-drawer chest remade into a media stand with drop-down glass doors; nightstands with a pull-out shelf; all drawers changed to soft closing drawers, etc.) each piece was made to our exact specifications and is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Everyone at Swiss Valley was very pleasant to speak to and helpful as well, especially Shawn who was extremely patient with us while we worked out all the details for each piece ordered. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Swiss Valley to whomever is thinking of purchasing custom furniture and/or accessories...their prices are very reasonable, their customer service is exceptional and their products are superb. We LOVE our new furniture and can't wait to begin the process for our custom dining room furniture."

"We went to Walnut Creek in search of a Sideboard to match our table and chairs, after looking at different shops, we stopped in Swiss Valley and found the Sideboard that just jumped out as the perfect one. Shawn helped us with the Sideboard, then we went to look for an Oak Trash Can and found one, ON the WAY to look at the Trash Can, we came across a Double Door Jelly Cabinet that was so beautiful that we purchased that too! We had a wonderful time looking at the beautiful and high quality furniture. The prices at Swiss Valley were so reasonable compared to the other shops. Thank you Shawn for helping us while we kept finding more. We will be ordering two Curio Cabinets in the near future! Married 35 years and this is the first time we've had matching dining room chairs " we are already enjoying them!"

"We have made multiple purchases here good prices " helpful and polite " pleasure to deal with."

"Hi Kendrick, I wanted to let you know how much we like the furniture that we got from you! We have had a lot of compliments on it and of course we tell them where we got it from. The color matches perfectly with our woodwork and everything. The bunk-beds are also made very solidly. Our boys are very active (nice way to put it) so I was pleased that I don't have to worry about it breaking easily. Thanks!"

"I can't thank you enough for the help that Kendrick and the other young man did for us. The bedroom furniture is definitely a work of art. Everyone that sees it is amazed at the workmanship and quality. I love it and John is so proud to show our furniture off to our friends. The wood is just beautiful."
